Do you want to develop professionally and personally? At the same time, do you already have both feet firmly planted in professional life? The Institute for Lifelong Learning (IAW) at THI offers you the opportunity to optimally combine your studies and your job.

In order to keep up with the increasing pace of innovation and the rapid growth of knowledge in all professional fields, Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences has made academic continuing education a central concern. Since 2008, the IAW has bundled all of the university's academic continuing education activities and offers a variety of qualification programmes under this umbrella. Since December 2015, our institute, as a subunit of THI, has carried the seal of quality of the system accreditation by the FIBAA agency. Our offering includes 19 part-time Bachelor's, Master's/MBA degree programmes in the fields of automotive, engineering, business, IT and health management, as well as university certificates, modular degree programmes and customised corporate programmes.

All IAW part-time study programmes are structured to meet your needs in your everyday working life: In order to skilfully dovetail study and work, the IAW has developed a didactic model that enables you to apply the knowledge from your studies directly in the company. As a rule, the courses take place on Fridays and Saturdays, while you pursue your profession during the week.

The learning atmosphere at IAW is characterised by a family-like atmosphere: small groups of participants support the success and effectiveness of the studies. A high degree of practical relevance and demand-oriented cooperation with companies are important features of every part-time degree programme.
