Admission requirements:
A first domestic or foreign university degree with at least 210 ECTS credit points is required for admission to the MBA programme.
Furthermore, at least one year of professional practice in the IT sector, in IT-related areas or in the field of business administration is required.
The admission requirements according to the Bavarian Higher Education Act generally apply.
Admission option for a university degree with fewer than 210 ECTS credit points:
If you have a university degree with fewer than 210 ECTS credits or your degree is recognised as having fewer than 210 ECTS credits, there is the option of having up to 30 ECTS credits from qualified professional experience credited.

If the higher education entrance qualification was obtained abroad, a preliminary examination of the higher education entrance qualification by uni-assist is required.

Graduates of the programme are primarily prepared for specialist and management tasks in the following areas:
- in non-IT companies
- in the IT sector
- in specialist departments that work closely with IT and/or rely heavily on IT
- Line or project responsibility in IT companies (IT service providers and IT manufacturers)
- Specialist responsibility in an IT management area in IT and non-IT companies (e.g. IT architecture management, IT service management, vendor management, IT security management)
