What is THI Videocommunity?

THI Video Community is meant to strengthen peer-to-peer learning within the THI. Explaining something to others is an important part of learning, and every student has valuable knowledge they can share. This project is designed to provide both students and professors with environment, tools and guidance to create educational videos, making it possible for students to choose the learning format that suits them the best.

Handbook

Our team has prepared a guide for those who want to become part of the video community. The guide is separated into two sections:

  • General guide, available here, that offers universal principles, advice and solutions that are useful for everyone. It will guide you step by step through planning your video project, from deciding what information you want to share, to choosing the format, to filming and editing.
  • THI-specific guide. This guide is available only internally and offers students and teachers detailed information about the equipment available at THI, from simple cameras and microphones to full-scale podcast setup, mixing stations and proper filming space, with lighting setup and several greenscreen options.
