A prerequisite for sustainable and intelligent traffic control is to know the traffic situation and to be able to identify starting points for a fluid control of the traffic participants. 5GoIng pursues the goal of precisely recording the traffic in the traffic circle using data collected by 5G from various sources and identifying correlations and patterns. This is the foundation for increasing the flow of traffic.

Use Case:

The highly accurate perception of the static and dynamic environment of the roundabout using the fusion of camera and LiDAR data reduces or avoids the safety risk for all road users (vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists) at the roundabout and enables emission saving driving through speed recommendations.
