"Digital Tuesday" - launch of the new online format from THI and IFG for companies from the region

Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI) and the Ingolstadt Economic Development Agency (IFG) are presenting the new edition of the tried-and-tested online format "Lunch & Learn". Under the title "Digital Tuesday - Lunch & Learn", an online event series specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Region 10 will be launched from 3 June 2025.

The compact 30-minute format at lunchtime offers entertaining keynote speeches on current topics from practice and science - trends and challenges from the HR sector, digital transformation, sustainability and AI. Each session consists of a 10 to 20-minute expert impulse, followed by an open discussion - ideal for taking away new food for thought during the lunch break. The concept was successfully implemented for the first time in December 2024 as part of the "Mensch in Bewegung" project. With this partnership, THI and IFG are setting a joint example for knowledge transfer and practical dialogue in the region.

"With the 'Digital Tuesday', we are creating a platform that combines knowledge transfer and networking in an appealing way," says Elke Feifel, Vice President for Sustainability, Transfer and Entrepreneurship at THI.

To kick things off on 3 June, Jan Hawliczek from "Die Grüne Drei" will give a practical insight into how companies can strategically position themselves in times of crisis when recruiting personnel. The programme for 2025 offers further sessions on topics such as reverse mentoring, cross-generational knowledge transfer, long-term employee retention, neurodiverse teams, assisted training and employer attractiveness in SMEs.

As Chairman of the Ingolstadt Economic Development Agency, Prof. Dr Georg Rosenfeld is very keen to send a clear signal for knowledge transfer in the region with the comprehensive activities for securing and recruiting employees, together with important players from the region. "The 'Digital Tuesday', as a platform for SMEs, is a building block for identifying trends at an early stage and actively shaping change."
