Public Voting for the Youth Sustainability Award Starts

From the 29th of April to the 6th of May 2025, interested parties can vote online for one of five pioneering projects in the field of sustainability. The project with the most votes will receive the audience award, which is endowed with 500 euros and donated by Stadtwerke Ingolstadt.

Innovative ideas for a sustainable future are honoured with the Youth Sustainability Award (symbolic image: Chat GPT).

THI organises the Youth Sustainability Award with partners from business, research, and society. The aim is to make a social commitment to a future worth living visible at an early stage and to encourage young people to commit to sustainable development.

Sustainability has played a central role at THI for many years. Relevant content is taught in all engineering and business degree programmes - in some disciplines, it even takes centre stage. The university is also setting an example with this award: Voting is possible at www.thi.de/go/nachhaltigkeitspreis, whereby name and e-mail address are requested for validation. The result of the online voting will also be included in the overall ranking.

The award ceremony will occur on Friday, 6th of June 2025, at 7 pm at THI. The nominated teams will present their ideas live in a pitch. Guests are welcome to attend.
