In the advanced module “HR 1 – Human Resource and Organizational Development,” students in the bachelor's degree programs in Business Administration as well as International Management at THI Business School gained valuable practical experience on current topics in human resource management.

It began with an inspiring guest lecture by Attila Avci, who focused on the concept of coaching as a leadership approach. This highlighted how modern leadership is defined by communication, trust, and development potential.

Nathalie Wagner from Volkswagen Group Services GmbH then provided exciting insights into change management. In her lecture, she identified key drivers of change and presented specific best practices from her everyday professional life.

Last was an excursion to the Munich Labor Court – Ingolstadt Chamber, where the focus was on real-life cases relating to dismissal and warnings. The excursion was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Michaela Regler and Prof. Dr. Claudia Lieske.

These three practical insights enable students to engage in-depth with current human resources management challenges and promote a reflective perspective on their future professional roles.
