A group of students from the Bachelor's degree programs in Business Administration (BW) and International Management (IG) as well as the Master's degree program in Financial Management & Controlling (FMC) at THI Business School went on a very special excursion to Deutsche Börse in Frankfurt. They were accompanied by Prof Dr Tanja Sinha and Prof Dr Mandy Habermann.
The focus of the visit was an exciting presentation by Max Christian Ebner on the DAX and share trading. The participants gained valuable insights into how the stock exchange works and about current developments on the financial markets.
A particular highlight was the view of the historic trading floor from the gallery - a place that many people otherwise only know from the news. The visit to the exhibition also provided interesting insights into the history and significance of Deutsche Börse.
The excursion made it possible to combine theoretical knowledge from the lecture hall with practical experience and impressively demonstrated how vividly economic relationships can be experienced on site.
Anyone who is also interested in a practice-oriented study program in the field of economics: The application period at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt is currently open - until July 15 for the FMC Master's degree and until August 31 for the BW and IG Bachelor's degree programs.
