Mensch in Bewegung

What is ‘Mensch in Bewegung’?

‘Mensch in Bewegung’ is the joint regional knowledge transfer project run by Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) and the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (KU). It brings together academia, business, politics, education and society to address the region’s current challenges and jointly develop forward-looking solutions.

Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence

Digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence are fundamentally transforming the economy, education and everyday life. ‘Mensch in Bewegung’ makes knowledge about digital innovations understandable and accessible to schools, local authorities, businesses and members of the public. Through bespoke further education and advisory services, they learn to assess the opportunities and risks of new technologies and to use them responsibly.

Sustainable Development

Sustainability is a key prerequisite for the region’s future viability. ‘Mensch in Bewegung’ supports schools, local authorities and businesses in implementing sustainable solutions in a holistic manner. Pilot projects also showcase innovative ideas for climate-friendly mobility, sustainable housing concepts and the protection of natural habitats.

Shaping the future

What will the Ingolstadt region look like in the coming years and decades? Mensch in Bewegung is addressing this question in collaboration with residents, businesses and institutions. Through dialogue, scenario development and consultancy, future trends are brought to light and impetus is provided for innovation and transformation processes in the region.
