What is it like to study in Ingolstadt - and what opportunities does a semester abroad at THI offer? Students from Slovenia and Croatia received answers to these questions directly on site. Last week, around 40 students and four professors from Maribor were guests. This week, 20 students and four professors from Zagreb came to find out more. A return visit to the University of Zagreb by 20 students from the Faculty of Engineering and Management from the Bachelor's degree courses "Data Science in Engineering and Management", "Technical Design", and "Engineering and Business" is planned for the end of May. The exchange is being organised by Professor Bernhard Axmann from the Faculty of Engineering and Management. The aim is to arouse interest in a semester abroad at the THI and, at the same time, open up new perspectives on international study opportunities for students at the university. "The exchange opens up new perspectives and makes opportunities visible that many had not even considered before," says Axmann. In addition to campus and laboratory tours, the programme also included a city tour of Ingolstadt. Joint events and discussions also provided space for direct dialogue between the students. This resulted in a lively dialogue: The guests gained insights into academic study and everyday life in Ingolstadt, while THI students made international contacts and received inspiration for their own stays abroad. |
