The award is based on 87,093 student evaluations from the year 2025, which were published following a review process. The star ratings and the recommendation rate were included in the evaluation. The feedback on Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt shows a very high level of satisfaction with academic studies, teaching, organisation and facilities. The practical orientation of the study courses, modern learning environments and personal support were rated particularly positively.
THI President Professor Walter Schober says: "The nationwide ranking in the StudyCheck Award 2026 confirms the high quality of academic study and teaching at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt. The fact that our students rate their study conditions so positively is recognition of the commitment of all university staff - and we are very pleased."
For the StudyCheck Awards, only evaluations submitted by students in the respective year and which have undergone a review process are taken into account. There are no editorial weightings or content-related interventions; the rankings are based solely on the evaluation data.
